Project | 01 Characteristics of the Vietnamese rural economy

As part of the project, authored one chapter of the report titled "Risk, Saving and Insurance". The chapter looks at the risk-profiles of the households in Vietnam using VARHS data from 2016. It presents the full risk-coping profile of people in the event of idiosyncratic
and co-variate shocks. Additionally it assesses the participation of households in financial products such as savings and insurance.

Project | 02 Indicator Development for the Surveillance of Urban Emergencies (IDSUE)

Development of statistical tools for establishing early warning thresholds for key surveillance indicators of urban food security in Kenya. Authored the technical section of the report representing the detailed picture of the area where the study was conducted and listing the tools employed in building a surveillance system to identify the indicators of urban emergencies.

Abstract: The thesis conducted a cross-country panel analysis for Africa to test resource curse through regressive investments, human-resource and institutions.
